At TIPS journal club meeting held virtually on July 20, 2020, the topic of "Recent sample preparation methods in pharmaceutical analysis" was presented by S.K. Malek. It is concluded that the development of sample preparation plays a very important role in pharmaceutical analysis. Thus, careful considerations should be given in order to purify the analyte for introducing it into the analytical instruments.
